Most think that newest VC Warrior, Ronan McDonald, is just a laid back cowboy. What they dont see is the inner turmoil that only his small ranch and horses can tame. At least that was the way it had been until a witch with a beauty none could deny walked into his life. Running has been Kira Grails life for as long as she can remember. It isnt until she meets a VC Warrior that she realizes she is growing weary, but the forces chasing her will never bend. Ronan doesnt believe in witches or curses. What he does believe is that only he can keep Kira safe. Together they fight to bring the once powerful warlock, Orjyll, to his knees releasing the women of the Dragonfly Coven. During their perilous journey Kira vows to keep her distance, but the vampire cowboy has other plans. ...

1st let me say I did not think Teresa could top Steve but dam if she just that with Ronan!!
2nd-OMG this book was nonstop action and laughs, which is what makes Teresa's book so dam good!!
Ronan's story picks up at the end of Steve's book, The Invisible Warrior, Kira and Mira are still hiding from that asshat Oryjell and the warriors are still looking for him, so to help with the search Sloan calls in Bishop and Viktor The Witch Hunters!! Needless to say their 1st meeting with the Witches did not ...more
Well written, funny as usual, emotional, kick butt action and of course great love scenes.Would have loved to have seen more chemistry between the two main characters but I still loved the story. Kira is a witch who has been running and hiding all her life. When her sister gets involved with Steve, a VC Warrior Kira meets Ronan another VC Warrior. Ronan realizes Kira is his mate and after awhile Kira feels the same. Things get intense when the Warriors find out Kira is the one who will have to bring ...more
Great story but needs better editing
I enjoyed the story and had been looking forward to Ronan and Kira’s book. Unfortunately while the story gets a five star rating, the large number of grammatical errors kept throwing me out of the book.
Ronan is a protective one, “you picked the right man for the job,” Ronan vowed, his hands clenching into fists at the thought of anyone hurting her. “Nothing or no one will hurt Kira.” Ronan doesn't like others touching his woman, "Ronan knocked Sid’s hand away. “That could have been said without touching.” I liked this book, I loved Ronan.
I love The Protectors series, and each book keeps getting better and better. However, I was a little disappointed in Ronan and Kira's story. I just didn't connect with them and I didn't feel the swoon worthy romance between the two of them. I was also a little confused about the tiff between Tessa and Jared. Vampires are wired to keep their mates happy, but Jared had a real attitude with Tessa throughout the whole book. One thing I was pleased to see, was how the women seemed to finally come int ...more

I received this book from the author f ran honest review.
Those tall, dark, handsome, and quiet ones are the ones you gotta look out for. If Jared doesn’t fix his shit I might have to leave him for Mr. Cowboy!! (Yes, it is that serious between Mr. Kincaid and myself!!)
Ronan has been a bit of a mystery ...more
I’ve been a VC Warrior fan since “Damon” was first released. Twelve Warriors later and I still find myself enamored with, and cheering for, each Warrior and mate as they find each other and fight off the bad guys (usually together). I love how the plots segue smoothly to the next; no reason at all to get bored. Blood-borne drugs, evil vendettas, mad scientists, ghosts and dead-people getting chatty and/ or taking control. We’ve been introduced to shape-shifters, werewolves and “powers” ...more
