The Shadowglass Reviews

“I am sorry about many things, but I am not sorry about this.”

I’ve been trying to write this review for a few minutes now, but I still can’t convey the words to describe this third and final book. I really can’t understand how this trilogy is so underrated, because I truly believe this is one of the best YA fantasy stories out there. Rin Chupeco has created a powerful story with an intricate world-building, complex siblings relationships, a beautiful and heartbreaking romance, and an outstandi

I received this book for free from Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

My body, heart and soul were not ready for the final book.

I procrastinated reading The Shadow Glass because this is the end. The End. THE END.

It's a week after finishing the last book in The Bone Witch trilogy and mere hours before this review is going live and I'm sitting here going: OH. MY. GOD. What are words even? Can I come back when my te

At first, I thought that this trilogy would not be for me, but then I picked up Heart Forger and found redeeming qualities that made me enjoy it. This action packed, fantasy trilogy involves slow burn romances, epic betrayals, and otherworldly magic that all combine to make this a story of major proportions. Tea is an intellectual, caring, and strong MC that is also diverse. I cannot get over the cover designs or the well crafted stories that Rin Chupeco has made and I am very thankful to be a p ...more

Thank you to the publisher for giving me an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

It has been a while since I binge read a series and said, "I'M IN SO MUCH PAIN GIVE THESE BOOKS MORE LOVE AND ATTENTION YOU COWARDS!!!"

I only started reading The Bone Witch series a month ago but I find myself so attached to this trilogy now that I consider it to be one of the best YA Fantasy series out there.

The Shadowglass tied up the missing links to Tea's tale seamlessly all the while making me fee

This broke me. If I had a heartsglass, it would be shattered into perpetually bleeding shards stained with my tears.

I’m going to need a lot of time.

    Review to follow.

“I will save the kingdoms, and I will save you in the process, and maybe I will save the bits and pieces of myself that need rescuing too.”

The Shadow Glass follows Tea, a bone witch with the power to raise the dead. She's used this magic to bring her brother back from the dead, as well as those who will be helpful to her and join her army to fight the royals. But Tea's journey to find a shadowglass—to achieve immortality for the one person she loves most in the world—threatens to destroy ...more

"Have you ever loved anyone so fiercely you were afraid it might shatter you?"

Fellow book lovers, one of my all-time favorite series has finally come to an end. Rin Chupeco deserves a standing ovation. This trilogy is nothing short of phenomenal. It captured my attention from the very first page and it still hasn’t quite let me go. In all honesty, I don’t think this series will ever release me from its

Pretty heavy but necessary info dumping. But definitely the right ending for this series.
