The Second Story Reviews
Just as fun as the first! Can’t wait for more!
The Second Story is a lot different than the first book in the Magic Misfits series, but I think it worked well.
The sequel to The Magic Misfits features Leila as the protagonist and not Carter like in the first installment. The Second Story focuses on Leila's family and how they grow closer throughout the course of the novel. The book is mainly a build-up to the climax at the very end, unlike The Magic Misfits in which the story is almost all action from beginning to close.

I read the first book in the series and this one promised more of the same so I had to get it. The title "The second story" follows the theme of chapter names from the last book, which follows through into the chapter names in this one, which are just random mutterings or facts about the number of the chapter or something else (but nothing to do with the story).
